INTA 2026: the annual meeting was held in London
Every year, INTA Annual Meeting is the leading international event in the field of intellectual property (IP). The 2026 event took place in early May in London and brought together over 9,500 IP professionals from around the world. On this occasion, we had the pleasure of organising a private event at the Museum of Brands. It was a special opportunity to network and socialise with our clients and partners. Here’s a look back at a few intense days, filled with meetings and inspiring discussions.
London in the spotlight at INTA’s intellectual property meetings
London in early May was the place to be for discussing the latest IP topics and making new connections. Camille Champion, CEO of PAPERZ IP, and Agathe Curis, Head of Strategy and Development, were there from 2 to 6 May. Between meetings, receptions and business lunches, our team covered the city like a real marathon!
An event organized by PAPERZ IP at the Museum of Brands
On the occasion of this major gathering, we organized a breakfast event at the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill. What better place than a museum dedicated to brands to discuss the latest intellectual property issues?
Organizing this event was a wonderful way for us to bring together clients, partners and intellectual property professionals in an inspiring and friendly setting.
It was a genuine opportunity for discussion, enabling us to better understand the current challenges facing IP and to better meet your expectations.
The perfect venue for INTA
Have you heard about the Museum of Brands, a museum dedicated to brands and consumer culture? It holds more than 12,000 iconic objects and traces their evolution: Kellogg’s cereal boxes, Maxwell House coffee packets, Heinz tins, as well as Head & Shoulders shampoo bottles, Fairy household products and even Harrods shopping bags. This venue was the ideal place to bring together IP professionals! It offers a chance to observe the evolution of packaging, logos, typography and marketing campaigns for numerous brands across the food, drink, laundry, toy and many other sectors. A real treasure trove of information that we were delighted to share with our clients.
The museum was founded on the initiative of Robert Opie, an English collector who, in the early 1960s, had the idea of collecting and classifying consumer goods by brand and date. An approach that is rather reminiscent of our work at Paperz IP! Every day, we archive publications of all kinds: magazines, brochures, catalogues, books… Whether they cover tableware, jewellery, sneakers, eyewear, tools, transport, architecture, etc., these are useful sources for our documentary research into designs and trademarks. During our research, we consult our archives as well as IP registers, the internet, museum collections and databases. Anywhere information might be found!

Thank you for sharing this moment in London with us
INTA was true to form: intense and insightful. The whole team at PAPERZ IP would like to extend our warmest thanks to you for the quality of the discussions during our stay in London. We would also like to thank you all for attending our event at the Museum of Brands in such large numbers, and we hope you enjoyed the breakfast and exploring the museum’s collection.
We would be delighted to discuss your research needs further. Contact us to discuss our services relating to designs (dating and prior art searches) and trademarks (evidence of use and reputation).
